Scuba Diving

Pohnpei offers incredible diving on healthy, colorful reefs. A large barrier reef provides great dive sites both nearby and at outer atolls. Diving is available for all skill levels.

Island Hiking

Trekking through Pohnpei's jungle offers waterfalls, WWII artifacts, and spectacular views from Sokehs Ridge. Experienced hikers will enjoy the climb to the top of Pohnpei's most prominent feature, Sokeh's Rock.

Nan Madol

Explore Pohnpei's mysterious ruins built on the sea. Large, naturally formed hexagonal basalt pillars form a maze of canals and artificial islands.

Manta Road

A popular hangout spot for a large group of mantas, Manta Road is definitely worth a stop to snorkel or for some diving.

And Atoll

Take a boat ride a bit further out to visit And Atoll (pronounced, and often spelled, "Ant Atoll"). This gorgeous outer atoll has no human inhabitants but hosts colonies of sea birds and some truly incredible diving.

Passports

Passports must be valid for 6 months beyond your final date of travel.

Departure Fee

A departure fee of $20 per person is collected at the airport prior to departing. Credit cards are accepted if the machines are working, but it's best to bring cash.

Visas Requirements

No visa is required for U.S. passport holders visiting for one year or less. Non-U.S. passport holders should research requirements for the country that issued their passport.
